In fact most do to circumvent the problem

Propose the dream to the French, avoid them angry by telling them the truth. "Since its launch three months of our action for the reduction of public debt, this is the response that have made us many policymakers. Affiliated with the Concorde Foundation, pulse Concorde is a group of students and young assets. We are not political professionals or experts. We're here or to tell people what they want to hear or to defend a balance sheet.

We know that the debt is not an easy subject. We know that it will involve officials promise, not a better life, but a questioning of the existing system. But we also know that it is the only solution to preserve our future.

Most of our leaders believe that the public debt is not a threat because there will be always people to it. What we want to say, is that our generation will not be able to play this role, and it is in this sense that we have chosen as slogan: "We do not pay your debts."

A year ago, Michel Pébereau remitted to the Minister of economy a report on the public debt. Written by a group of experts, this report has developed a remarkable state of affairs. While updating the waste that is public debt committed not to invest, but to finance current expenditure, this report has shown how debt questioned our future.

Public debt represents more than 2,000 billion euros cash pension commitments. Each year, it leads to the payment in interests of 45 billion euros, or 1.800 euros per second. Beyond to put in question the credibility of the France both in the financial markets within the European Union, the public debt weighs each day a little more on our prosperity. It prevents the tax cut, reduced growth, forced to cut corners on our public services and, especially, to prevent our State to prepare to face the challenge of pension.

In a year, the political world little responded to this report. If the Government tried to save the appearances by announcing a lower than expected deficit, but failed to clarify that the annual deficit was still more than 40 billion euros. Binding the France to incurring the same amount, he lead as early as next year's payment of 1.7 billion euros of interest.

In the 35 pages of the Socialist project, no proposal concerns the public debt. On the legislative programme of the UMP 45 pages, less than one half is devoted to the same debt and sole ambition is to bring it back (excluding pension commitments) to 60 of GDP.

What are we waiting for our political representatives We want that they are beginning to recognize the magnitude of the problem. We want then that they are the logical consequence: the need for a reform of our State and absolute; not a succession of measures, but a deep and substantial reorganization of our Governments. We want that they take strong commitments and restore the confidence of the French by responsibility.

In fact, most do to circumvent the problem. The left clear us the magic recipe of Keynesian stimulus (increase public spending to boost growth and increase tax revenues). Right, it houses behind taxes as a miracle solution cuts (to know return to growth, and debt reduction). In both cases, these policies are ineffective because they are not "tenable".

With this guilty inertia of the political world, we decided to mobilize. We are citizens, therefore, the citizen mobilization that we want to make our voices heard. Three months ago we launched an online petition for debt reduction, More than 5000 French have already signed and it is only a start. On 12 December, to mark the anniversary of the Pébereau report, we organize a citizen debate in the National Assembly where more than 150 young people can engage with representatives of the major French political parties on the debt. Today, it is essential that this movement extends. It is the future of all, young people and the elderly, whose pensions are threatened. They will be the first to suffer from the end of public services. Now it is therefore all the French to put pressure on our political representatives, so they wear this theme during the presidential campaign.
